I’m really big on personal finance. Anyone who knows me knows that I am frugal (not cheap) :) and am a big advocate about saving and budgeting. I frequent a few blogs and this blog moderated by Ramit Sethi is one of my favorites. Not only are his articles insightful, the humor he intermixes with his articles are pretty damn entertaining as well.

Escrow Closed!

Posted by admin on April 21st, 2008

I haven’t posted a blog entry in quite some time so I decided to give you an update on my new home purchase. Signed loan documents tonight, loan should fund on April 24th, and escrow closes on April 25th. I will be taking the following week off from work to get moved in and transition to my new home. It’s been long awaited but the day has finally come.

David Sides - Local Pianist

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch, who is dying from pancreatic cancer, gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving talk, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals. Welcome to my blog!

Honestly never thought I would have a blog but this will be my voice to the mysterious world of the “internets” (thanks President Bush for coining that term).  I’m going to update this periodically, however it will become more frequent as this blog transitions into my personal routine.
